On March 31, Center for Civil Integration and Inter-ethnic Relations - CCIIR together with the representatives of TSU IT department held the presentation of e-platform for the academic staff of TSU 1+4 program:
CCIIR representatives Tamar Antadze and Elene Jajanidze conducted training seminars for ethnic minority students who study at Georgian language preparatory program at TSU.

On November 8th, 2016, Center for Civil Integration and Inter-Ethnic Relations (CCIIR) and UNAG’s “Promoting Integration, Tolerance and Awareness Program” [PITA] have released a research – “The effectiveness of one year Georgian language program for ethnic minorities at HEIs.”
CCIIR began implementing the research component of PITA program (“Promoting Integration, Tolerance and Awareness Program in Georgia" [PITA], implemented by the UN Association of Georgia with financial support of USAID).
On April 2-5, in the framework of the EU TEMPUS joint project "DIMTEGU - Development and Introduction of Multilingual Teacher Education programs at Universities of Georgia and Ukraine" consortium meeting was held in Kiev, Ukraine.
CCIIR is conducting meetings with 12th grade pupils who are in their last year of school and are going to continue their studies at higher education institutions and become students.
On December 9, at recently opened TSU Youth Center Anna Buianova who is the representative of the United Nations Association of Georgia (UNAG) visited the center and conducted the introductory meeting with its members.
On December 2, "TSU Youth Center" has officially opened at Tbilisi State University (block 7). The opening event was organized within “Promoting Integration, Tolerance and Awareness Program in Georgia [PITA], implemented by the UN Association of Georgia with financial support of USAID.

On July 10-12, in Kvariati, Center for Civil Integration and Inter-ethnic Relations held a workshop with the faculty of Kutaisi, Batumi and Gori State Universities.
On June 26, at National Library of Georgia CCIIR held a presentation of project results - “Innovative Action for Gender Equality”.
On June 5, Center for Civil Integration and Inter-ethnic Relations jointly with the Faculty of Education of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University organized an intercultural event: Integrity of Diversity with the goal of creating an environment of tolerance and respect.
On May 30 the faculty and the students of Gori State University visited Kachagani public school #1 (Marneuli district), where they met school administration, students, graduate students and others.
