KEY MOMENTS OF THE YEAR
The project “Supporting Multilingual Education in Georgia" is being implemented by the Center for Civil Integration and Inter-Ethnic Relations (CCIIR) with the financial support OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities.
Totally 9 non-Georgian schools from Kvemo Kartli and Kakheti regions competitively selected to be involved in the project "Integration of Society through Multilingual Education" (ISME).
n these days, in Bakuriani trainings are being carried out. This is the first time when the representatives of 20 pilot schools from Kvemo Kartli, Samtskhe-Javakheti and Kakheti regions, selected through a competitive process, are meeting one another.
On June 9-10, within the framework of the project "Integration of Society through Multilingual Education" (ISME) Ana Golubeva, invited trainer and project partner conducted two-day intensive trainings for project beneficiaries - representatives of 7 preschool institutions from Kvemo Kartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti regions.
Center for Civil Integration and Inter-ethnic Relations (CCIIR) started implementing the second phase of the project "Integration of Society through Multilingual Education" (ISME).
From 4 to 6 May, workshops were conducted in the framework of the project "Prepare for Diversity and Develop Tolerance Among the Youth of Georgia" (DTYG), which is being implemented with the financial support of OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities.
From April 28 to May 1 training sessions took place in Bakuriani in the framework of the project "Integration of Society through Multilingual Education" (ISME).
In the framework of PITA program, CCIIR for the second time, campaigned to promote the recruitment process of non-Georgian school leavers who are willing to continue their studies at higher education institutions.
On March 23-24, in Bakuriani workshop sessions were conducted by CCIIR.
On 15 - 17 February, 2018 the third international conference: Second Language Teaching/Acquisition in the Context of Multilingual Education was held at Tbilisi State University.

Center of Civil Integration and Inter-ethnic Relations (CCIIR) is pleased to announce the third international conference: Second Language Teaching/Acquisition in the Context of Multilingual Education, which jointly with Tbilisi State University (TSU) and University of Tartu (UT) will be held at Tbilisi State University on 15 - 17 February, 2018.
Center for Civil Integration and Inter-ethnic Relations - CCIIR presented the research results on employment opportunities and career growth of ethnic minority students and graduates enrolled through quota system.
On May 17, 2017 the second meeting was held at CCIIR office between the representatives of Georgian universities, ministry of education and PITA program.
