CCIIR developed methodological materials on content and language integrated learning

Methodological guides for teachers on content and language integrated learning in grades 7-12 for seven subjects (Math, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, History, Geography and Civil Education) were developed and printed within the project “Supporting Multilingual Education Reform in Georgia” financed by the office of OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities.

The methodological guides review main principals of bilingual education on primary, basic and secondary schools. The developed guides give practical lesson units on integration of content and language and development language competency through different subjects.
The methodological guides will assist schools implementing multilingual educational pilot programs. Methodological guides are important materials for schools planning of introduction of content and language integrated teaching at their classrooms
