Within the framework of the program  “EU4Gender Equality: Together against gender stereotypes and gender-based violence" (funded by the European Union, implemented jointly by UN Women and UNFPA), CCIIR invites teachers from Tbilisi, Guria, and Imereti regions for participating in the process of analyzing textbooks and conducting training.

 

 

The project envisages the analysis of primary and secondary school textbooks in the context of gender sensitivity, the development of textbooks, and the development of teaching resource analyzing methodologies and conducting training for school teachers on gender equality and the meaning of gender equality in the classroom.                                                                                                         

The applicant must send an essay on gender equality and its importance in the teaching-learning process to the e-mail provided by the organization. It is important that in the essay the applicant outlines his or her attitudes and views on the issue and explains his or her vision in a reasoned manner. The essay should also include information about the applicant's motivation for involving in the process of analyzing textbooks and conducting training on gender equality.

After the selection phase, teachers will be given 3-day training to obtain detailed information about the program goals, objectives, and other related issues, as well as the research/analysis of the textbooks from the gender perspective.
