The company "Editor.ge" and the "Center for Civil Integration and Inter-Ethnic Relations" (CCIIR) are launching accelerated online courses for learning Georgian as a second/foreign language from March 15, 2006.
The organization has extensive experience in teaching a second/foreign language: since 2005, within the framework of various projects, with the support of foreign and local donors, CCIIR has created a large volume of resources for both preschoolers and general education school students, as well as students and adults. Over the years, language courses have been held in schools in Samtskhe-Javakheti and Kvemo Kartli, printed and online resources have been created (both methodological and in the form of textbooks).
In 2024, online courses in teaching the Georgian language to citizens of Ukraine were successfully implemented, as a result of which about 200 Ukrainian refugees received certificates of language proficiency at levels A1, A2 and B1.

The courses are led by experienced and competent teachers:
Kakha Gabunia, Doctor of Philology, Associate Professor at TSU. He is the author of many textbooks, and from the date of its establishment until 2021 he headed the TSU Georgian Language Training Program; he has conducted numerous trainings in the methodology of Georgian as a second/foreign language. Since 2015, he has been leading the “Multilingual Education Program” at TSU. In 2024-2025, she worked on the concept of Georgian as a second language examination testing for the National Center for Assessment and Examinations. Co-author of the State Standard for Proficiency Levels of Georgian as a Second/Foreign Language. In 2024-2025, she supervised and personally conducted language courses for Ukrainian refugees.
Nino Sharashenidze, Doctor of Philology, Associate Professor of TSU. Author of numerous textbooks, has been involved in adult language teaching projects since 2000. In 2024-2025, she worked on the concept of Georgian as a second language examination testing for the National Center for Assessment and Examinations. Co-author of the State Standard for Proficiency Levels of Georgian as a Second/Foreign Language.
Giuli Shabashvili, Doctor of Philology, Associate Professor of TSU. Since 2010, she has been involved in projects to teach the state language to adults and students of general education schools. Since 2025, Giuli Shabashvili has been the head of the Georgian language training program at TSU. In 2024-2025, she conducted language courses for Ukrainian refugees.
Ketevan Gochitashvili, Doctor of Philology, Associate Professor at TSU. Author of many textbooks. Since 2010, she has been involved in projects to teach the state language to adults and students of general education schools. In 2024-2025, she conducted language courses for Ukrainian refugees.
Chabuki Kiria, Doctor of Philology, Associate Professor at Caucasus University. Author of many textbooks. Since 2005, she has been involved in projects for teaching the state language to adults and students of general education schools. Since 2010, she has been teaching courses at the Georgian Language Training Program at TSU.
Mariam Manjgaladze, Doctor of Philology, Associate Professor at Caucasus University. Since 2010, she has been involved in projects for teaching the state language to adults and students of general education schools. She heads the Georgian Language Training Program at Caucasus University. Co-author of the State Standard for Proficiency Levels of Georgian as a Second/Foreign Language.
