On December 19, in hotel “Ambasadori” CCIIR gave the final presentation on the research results “Intercultural Education Policy in Primary Schools of Georgia”.
The research was conducted with the financial support of USAID in the framework of the EWMI’s program G-PAC. It aimed to determine the level of intercultural sensitiveness of teachers of primary grade and learn about their preparedness for mainstreaming of multicultural approaches in instruction process at public schools of Georgia.
The speakers of the event were Shalva Tabatadze, director of the CCIIR, Natia Gorgadze, program manager of CCIIR, Kakha Gabunia, Irma Khomeriki and Davit Tinikashvili, who worked on the analysis of textbooks.
CCIIR has issued Intercultural Education Policy Document in Georgian and English languages.
