CCIIR has conducted Intercultural Education Research in Primary Schools of Georgia which aimed to determine the level of intercultural sensitiveness of teachers of primary grade and learn about their preparedness for mainstreaming of multicultural approaches in instruction process at public schools of Georgia.
The presentation of research results was held by CCIIR at Recourse Centers of Gori, Kutaisi, Akhaltsikhe, Batumi and Telavi. Teachers of primary grade, school administration, staff of RC and some local NGOs working on the education issues attended the meeting.
The research was conducted with the financial support of USAID in the framework of the EWMI’s program G-PAC.
Based on the analysis of the research results CCIIR developed recommendation package for improvement of multicultural education in public schools.
