The Center for Civil Integration and Inter–Ethnic Relations (CCIIR) has developed and published the manual “Gender Equality Issues in Social Science Teaching”. The manual aims to present gender analysis of the school textbooks. The object of the research was textbooks of history and civil education for basic and secondary schools of Georgia, approved by Ministry of Education and Science (MoES). The research was conducted in the framework of the project “supporting Multilingual Education Reform in Georgia” funded by OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities.

The study was carried out by the experts in education and gender issues: I. Khomeriki, M. Javakhishvili, and T. Abramishvili and the results are presented in manual.
