Centre for Civil Integration and Inter-Ethnic Relations (CCIIR) implements the project” “Ethnic minority educational rights protection through bilingual education”. The project is funded by European Commission.
Latvian experts Dace Dalbina and Vineta Vaivade are visiting CCIIR from April 29- May, 5 in the framework of the project. Latvian and Georgian experts will develop training program for multipliers on bilingual teaching methods and develop concept, structure and action plan for development “Teacher’s Handbook: Content and Language Integrating Teaching in Primary Schools”. The Teacher’s handbook will be published by the end of 2010.

Latvian experts will visit public and private schools implementing bilingual educational programs. Experts will deliver lecture “Bilingual Educational Reform in Latvia” at Tbilisi State University for the students of Educational Administration Master Program.
